Literature Text

I believe in Humanity. I don't believe in god, or the devil. No, humanity is what I believe in.

From birth, we are a clean slate, a untouched record, a fresh piece of cloth.
But humanity, life, experience, it changes that.

It can either scrap the slate with scraps, damage the record, make it unreadable, unplayable or tear the cloth, stain it with blood and tears.

Or, it can write on the slate the most majestic and beautiful words known to man, record the most harmonic melody the ears have known, or tend to the cloth, to make it feel like water.

Humanity shapes us, and we shape it. No-one is born a monster, they are created.

With every crime and with every kindness, we birth our future.

To become either the hero or the villain, it all depends on our experience, our minds, our humanity.

We have a chance to become great, and you can, it all depends on how you view great.
Great evil, or great good.

It's your choice. Whatever you choose, be weary, it may shape humanity forever.
Just something I came up with at 11 at night. Plus I had some major inspiration from my history teacher, she's just amazing, one of the best teachers I know.

So yeah, enjoy :)

Thank you. This has spoken for what I have left unsaid in my chest.
